ALP President, Brian B Shulman, recently traveled to the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland as an appointed member of Steering Committee of the World Rehabilitation Alliance (WRA) for a strategic leadership meeting which took place December 2-4.  The WRA is a WHO global network of stakeholders whose mission is to support the implementation of the Rehabilitation 2030 Initiative through advocacy activities.  It focuses on promoting rehabilitation as an essential health service that is integral to Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and to the realization of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3:  Ensure health lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.  The meeting focused on a recap of the WRA’s successes for 2024 and strategic planning for the WRA’s advocacy plan for 2025.
