On behalf of IALP, President Brian Shulman attended the Congress of the Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) that was held in Antalya, Turkey. The Congress offered presentations and a great platform for networking for both professions of phoniatricians and speech and language pathologists. IALP and UEP have much to share and gain. Consequently, Brian Shulman and Ahmed Genaid on behalf of the UEP signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance their collaboration in the near future. The IALP welcomes the re-engagement of the phoniatricians and looks forward to work more closely together.
