The IALP Child Language Committee in collaboration with Griffith University is conducting research on the status of digital literacy with SLPs (or SLTs) around the globe who deliver intervention services to children and adolescents with language disorders. Specifically, we want to know about SLPs’ competence in using digital literacy outside of work, their inclusion of digital tools in intervention and their targeting of digital literacy goals in intervention with children and adolescents who struggle with language.
We ask professionals who provide intervention to children and adolescents in a variety of settings to complete a 22 item questionnaire that will take no longer than 10 minutes. Responses are anonymous and results will be available on the IALP website and will also be disseminated in conferences and written articles.
The survey is available in 9 languages: English, Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Croatian, Greek and Chinese.
You would play a vital role in the success of this project by participating or distributing this survey link along with the flyer below to SLPs in your sphere who provide language/literacy intervention to children and adolescents in any setting.
We hope to close the survey by the end of April, 2025 so the sooner the better in distributing this.
